What to Expect
Your first visit to Orthodontics Only in Miami is a time for Dr. D and Dr. G and our expert team to get to know you and your needs. The initial appointment will take 60 minutes and we will do our best to make efficient use of your time. At the end of your appointment, you will take away a great deal of information about what problems exist, when treatment should start, the type of treatment you should have, the length of time in treatment and how much treatment will cost!
Free Initial Consultation
Your initial consultation is free. At this visit, Dr. Sanders and Dr. Cabrera will examine your x-rays and photos to assess any problems that can be treated with orthodontics. They will talk about your dental history and will review what is possible with braces, Invisalign or retainers. You will have time to ask questions and discuss with them your personal goals for achieving your dream smile.
We will then discuss your appliances and give you an estimated length of time that you would be in treatment. Since there are a number of procedures and the latest technology at disposal of a patient, Dr. Sanders and Dr. Cabrera will assist you to decide on the most appropriate remedy for your situation.
What is the Cost of Treatment?
After your discussion about treatment, you will continue with our treatment coordinator. Her primary goal is to make your treatment affordable. The total cost of treatment depends on many different factors including the appliances needed and the length of time in treatment. There are absolutely no surprise fees and your investment includes EVERYTHING that is completed in our office! Our treatment coordinator will offer you multiple financial arrangements including 0% interest financing.
Do You Accept Insurance?
Absolutely! We accept assignment of benefits for all PPO insurance plans and our treatment coordinator will do the absolute best in order to get your maximum benefit from your insurance company. Assignment of benefits means that your insurance company pays our office directly and there is no hassle for you. Our office has almost 30 years of experience dealing with insurance companies to get our patients the maximum benefits possible!
What Are Diagnostic Records?
If you are ready to get started with treatment at the initial exam, we can take impressions of your teeth and schedule your appointment to start your treatment. The diagnostic records needed for a comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis can all be taken on your initial appointment and they include study models of your teeth, radiographs (x-rays) and photographs of your teeth, face and smile. The doctors will review these records, along with the results of the clinical examination that he conducts at your visit, before developing a mechanics plan for your individualized treatment.
