Dr. G

Dr. Cabrera is a South Florida native, born and raised in Miami, Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami (GO CANES)! and made her way up the east coast to the nations capital. Dr. Cabrera received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington, DC. Shortly after she moved to New York City and completed two years of a General Practice Residency, serving the underserved community of Bronx, NY.

After one year of practicing as a restorative dentist, Dr. Cabrera pursued her long time goal of becoming an Orthodontist. She spent three years at BronxCare Health System in New York, served as chief resident and published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Cabrera is a Board Certified Orthodontist and volunteers her time at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital as one of their resident Orthodontist on the Craniofacial Facial Team. She also participates at the local Spear Study Club and is a member of:

• American Association of Orthodontics
• College of the Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics
• American Dental Association
• Florida Dental Association and Miami Dade Dental Society
• Florida and Southern Association of Orthodontics

In her spare time, she enjoys running (when you see her ask her what half marathon she’s running next) and working out. She loves to travel, learn about different cultures, try new restaurants and spend time with her family and friends.
